We are on a mission to empower young adults aged sixteen to twenty-one experiencing homelessness in Waldo County by providing these services:

PEX Visa Card Project

Driving School Support

up to $600.

Youth Outreach Specialist:

When young adults seek financial assistance, our Youth Outreach Specialist meets with them to verify their identities and assess their needs. Along with providing a prepaid Visa card, the specialist shares information about resources that the young adults may not be aware of.

Many young adults also reach out to the Youth Outreach Specialist on behalf of others whom they believe could benefit from this assistance.

Homeless Prevention Initiative

Numerous studies indicate that it is more cost-effective to prevent homelessness than to address it after it occurs. Our goal is to support individuals who may struggle to pay their rent due to unforeseen circumstances such as illness, job loss, or other unexpected expenses.
